FORTY

Forty is another import from Texas. He comes from the same breeder as Yue and was imported at the age of 5 months. He's only just arrived, but I can already tell you this much about him: he's a dream!

He is not only beautiful to look at, but also incredibly open-minded, cuddly and totally balanced. A really cool guy, who – immediately after our arrival in the underground garage – walked up to two strange big dogs calmly and friendly and happily put his paws up on their owner to say hi to him. Even the wheelchair user who happened to come by didn't impress Forty, he trotted along comfortably, curiously put his paws up in his lap and let the wheelchat user pet him too. What else could you wish for?! And all of that just after he had been on the road and plane for 20 hours straight and arrived in a completely unfamiliar environment!

When he got home, he walked into the house quite naturally and without being asked. He sniffed at our girls and the furnishings curiously but unimpressed, and then laid down completely relaxed in the living room, as if he had always been with us. Even when his "Guardian family", with whom he will be living together, came to pick him up two hours later, he lovingly cuddled them and then walked with them to their car as if he had never done anything else – although he had never worn a collar or leash before, it didn't bother him at all or made him hesitate for a second. Forty immediately had complete trust in all of us and joined us in an absolutely uncomplicated and relaxed manner. He is an attentive and carefree young male.
