Personality

Bellamy is a homegrown boy and a littermate to Rayla. He also is out of our „Lost River B-Litter“ by Yue and Ukiah.

Bellamy lives with friends of ours here in Wiesbaden and is a loving family dog who is totally balanced despite the family's three little children. Bellamy is an absolutely social and open-minded male who loves nothing more than to play with other dogs he meets on his daily walks. He also is open, outgoing, and friendly with strangers, and doesn't have any problem with kids either.

In contrast to his sister Rayla, Bellamy has inherited a lot from Yue and is a really uncomplicated and easy-going male who doesn't let anything upset him, he always stays happy and relaxed. Bellamy also has the same great social behavior like his mother Yue, he neither is dominant, nor pushy or rough. When meeting strange dogs, he lays down on the ground and calmly waits until the other dogs sniffed at him. This way he symbolizes that he is not posing a threat to anyone, instead he makes himself small and subordinates himself – regardless of the gender, size or age of the other dogs. Even if another, anti-social male doesn't like him and attacks him, Bellamy stays nice and doesn't let it affect him, he just looks confused, because he doesn't understand why the other dog doesn't want to play. Meeting other dogs and playing with them is what Bellamy loves the most – and just like his momma Yue, Bellamy also gets every human and dog to love him and play with him in the wink of an eye ;)

He loves to do Agility, is very playful and cuddly, likes to swim and fetch and is callable in any situation, even if the dogs he is playing with suddenly run off into the forest – Bellamy comes back in an exemplary manner and is always admired by the other dog owners. We also always get told by all kinds of people how extremely beautiful and balanced he is.

I am very happy to have the opportunity to use Bellamy for breeding in the future, because I am sure that he is a real enrichment for the breed: both visually and in character!
